  9.    For all those C-64 users who have

  11. grown to LOVE Print Shop.....
  12.  
  13. Broderbund Software has finally
  14.  
  15. released their long-awaited Print
  16.  
  17. Shop Companion.  And boy, is it worth
  18.  
  19. the wait.  If you thought Print Shop
  20.  
  21. was versatile and easy to use, just
  22.  
  23. run out and buy a copy of this great
  24.  
  25. program!!!!
  26.  
  27.    The first and most important thing
  28.  
  29. to do is modify your copy of Print
  30.  
  31. Shop to enable it to use the 12 new
  32.  
  33. fonts, 50 borders, 20 bonus graphics
  34.  
  35. and 24 numeric graphics on the
  36.  
  37. Companion disk.  After this is done,
  38.  
  39. you can use these when making your
  40.  
  41. signs, greeting cards, etc.
  42.  
  43.    The main feature of Companion is
  44.  
  45. the graphic editor, which allows you
  46.  
  47. to make your own borders and fonts
  48.  
  49. (not to mention your own graphics).
  50.  
  51. This editor is a drastic improvement
  52.  
  53. over the one in Print Shop.  Besides
  54.  
  55. the original features, you now have
  56.  
  57. your choice of patterns for fill, a
  58.  
  59. mirror image feature, lines, rays,
  60.  
  61. box and oval function.  You can flip
  62.  
  63. horizontal/vertical or see what your
  64.  
  65. graphic will look like as a negative.

  67. Also, the ability to add text any-
  68.  
  69. where you choose.
  70.  
  71.    A bonus for 128 owners (or 64
  72.  
  73. owners with a reset button) is the
  74.  
  75. ability to "capture" graphics from
  76.  
  77. screen files.  Companion also allows
  78.  
  79. you to capture a graphic from memory.

  81. Nice!!!!  But, my personal favorite

  83. is the Tile Magic section.  It has
  84.  
  85. 11 different patterns that you can
  86.  
  87. capture, modify and use as a graphic.

  89. The patterns you can turn out look

  91. very professional and they look great
  92.  
  93. as a tile design in your cards, signs,

  95. etc.
